Wimbledon Books is an independent bookshop established in 1996 on Wimbledon Hill Road. We moved to our present location in Wimbledon Village in 2004.
We stock a wide range of new fiction and non-fiction titles covering Biography, History, Politics, Science, Business, Travel, Sport, Gardening and Cookery. In addition, we have books on London and Wimbledon local history.
Children's Books
We have a large children's section for all ages, from newborn to Young Adult, fiction and non-fiction, and have a wide selection of beautifully-illustrated gift books.
Children's Games and Toys
We have a range of soft toys: Jellycat, TY beanies, Paddington Bears, Peter Rabbits and Peppa Pigs. We also have jigsaw puzzles, bingo and matching games, Playmobil, Airfix Original and Quickbuild, and Corgi Collectables.
We are stockists of the excellent Tonies children's audio system and always have a wide selection of characters and accessories available.
Stationery
We have an extensive choice of greeting cards for adults and children: fine art, humour, special age and occasion cards, party invitations and thank yous. We also stock cards and postcards of Wimbledon scenes by local artists.
We have gift wrap rolls and sheets, gift bags, tissue, ribbons, a high-quality range of notebooks and journals, Faber-Castell colouring pencils, felt-tips, paints and other children's stationery items by Legami.
Gift Vouchers
We sell our own Wimbledon Books Gift Vouchers, £5 and £10, which can be used to purchase anything in the shop, and we accept and sell National Book Tokens (these can only be used to purchase books).
